Baked tuna pasta

Pasta is our favorite dish no matter how it is cooked so I am always trying to come up with new, easy recipes that could feed the family with almost no effort. This one is prepared in only one pan and while in the oven you can enjoy your family’s or friends’ company escorted with a glass of wine.


  • 500 grams ditalini pasta(or any short pasta of your preference)
  • 2 cans tuna (drained)
  • 1 can kernel corn (drained) – alternatively you can use a can of mixed vegetables
  • 1 pack (40 grams) of vegetable soup (undiluted)
  • 4 teacups grated cheese (cheddar, gouda, gruyere, etc)
  • Salt, pepper
  • 750 ml milk
  • 750 ml water


Place the pasta (uncooked) into a 13 X 9-inch ovenproof pan.

Add the vegetable soup, the tuna –coarsely chopped-, the kernel corn and the grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

Add the milk and the water and bake in a preheated, at 180 degrees, oven for 50-55 minutes until all fluids are absorbed.

Serve it hot or at a room temperature.
