Oatmeal and chocolate chips energy bars

Cereal bars are my daughters’ favorite school snack. So a while ago, I decided to make them on my own. They are easy to make, healthy and they provide loads of energy till lunch time.


  • 1 teacup honey
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 teacups chocolate chips oats
  • 1 teacup of coco pops
  • 1 teacup almonds coarsely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Ιn a large skillet warm up the honey with the peanut butter  over medium heat.

Add all the remaining ingredients and mix them well together.

Pour the mixture into a small square pan (20 x 20 cm) covered with parchment paper.

Refrigerate the mixture for at least 4 hours and then cut into 12 pieces.

    Πόσο τέλειο!!! Μπορεί αντι για φυστικοβούτυρο να βαλουμε ταχίνι?

      Φυσικά. Και το ταχίνι τους ταιριάζει τέλεια. Απλά, προσωπικά, λατρεύω το φιστικοβούτυρο 🙂
