Coffee and hazelnuts cake

Cakes are the standard, everyday delicacy for afternoon tea, kid’s snack at school or a homemade gift when visiting your friends. Lots of recipes and ideas on cakes. However, this one has hazelnuts and coffee.

Ingredients

  • 130 grams melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teacup sugar
  • 260 grams self-raising flour
  • 1 teacup fresh milk
  • 1 teacup coarsely cut hazelnuts
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix them well with a hand mixer or a fork until well homogenized.

Pour the mixture into a greased , non-stick cake pan and bake in preheated, at 180 degrees, oven for 45′ – 50′.

Leave cake to cool and then serve. We can sprinkle with powdered sugar or decorate with chocolate icing.
