Ingredients
- 20 pieces small, round puff pastries
- 2 apples
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons raisins
- 2 teaspoons grounded cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons water
Peel the apples and finely chop them in the food processor.
In a bowl add the apples, the sugar, the cinnamon and the raisins and toss them well. In another bowl whisk the egg with the water.
Put a tablespoonful of apple mixture into half of the puff pastry sheets (10 pcs). Spread some of the egg-water mixture in the puff pastry edges. Cover with the remaining puff pastry pieces and use a fork to seal the apple pies’ edges. Spread more egg-water mixture on top of the puff pastry.
Bake in a preheated, at 170 degrees, oven for 18-20 minutes or until they get golden brown.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon and serve.
