Cake pops

Few days ago I have tried to make cake pops for the girls but unfortunately everything went bad. After receiving various advices and videos from fellow foodbloggers, I came up with this recipe which was very good and everybode loved it!

Ingredients

  • For the dough
  • 400 grams vanilla cake (already baked)
  • 200 grams cream cheese
  • 200 grams chocolate chips
  • For decoration
  • 400 grams dark or white chocolate
  • coconut, nuts, sprinkles, etc

 

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave.

In a large bowl crumble the cake and add the cream cheese as well as the melted chocolate.

Leave the mixture in the refrigerator for a while until firm and roll the dough in small balls (like ping pong balls).

Melt the remaining chocolate in the same way. Dip the sticks that you will use a little bit in the chocolate and then place them onto the balls that we have prepared. Let them stand for 3′-4’ and then roll the balls into the melted chocolate.

Decorate your cake pops with grated coconut, nuts, colored sprinkles or anything that you fancy. Leave them  to dry and serve.
