Ingredients
- 250 grams melted butter
- 2 teacups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 5 teacups all purposes flour
- Your favorite jam
In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together (just keep the jam to fill the biscuits). You should get an elastic, non-sticky dough.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface until 0.5 cm thick. Cut out the biscuits with the special cutters (one cutter should be whole and the other one with the hole in the middle) and bake in preheated oven, at 180 degrees, for 17′-20′.
Allow cookies to cool thoroughly and then put a teaspoon of jam on each whole biscuit. Cover with a biscuit with the hole in the middle and if desired sprinkle with some powdered sugar.
