I usually do not write about restaurants as I believe it is very subjective what you like and what you don’t. However, I will make an exception for The Burger Joint as I was really impressed by their “pet friendly” attitude.
But let me start from the very beginning. A Tuesday evening we have decided with my husband to get out for a quick dinner.
We were feeling carnivorous so we decided to go for burgers that night so we headed to The Burger Joint in Psychiko. Darcy, our maltese dog also joined us as usually.
We arrived at the restaurant and we were greeted with a genuine smile. We picked our table and had a look at the menu. Three minutes later, the waiter brought fresh water for Darcy and some doggy biscuits as a treat for her. That surprised me a lot as we are not used to such a pet friendly attitude.
We ordered two lovely cocktails while deciding on our order. We finally went for a salad, a pizza and two burgers as a main course.
When we finished our dinner and we were full to the rim, a kind waitress asked if we would like to end with a dessert. Although we were fully stuffed, we went for a warm apple crumble with vanilla ice cream which was an absolute hit. A great ending to a delicious meal.
To cut the long story short, we had a great dinner, a nice, relaxing evening and Darcy was absolutely happy.
