Ingredients
- 1 bottle ofdry, red wine (750 ml)
- 300 ml water
- 80 grams sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 star anise
- juice of a small orange
Put all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer over low heat for 10′-15 ‘ but do not let the wine to boil.
Serve the wine –hot- in mugs and, if you wish, decorate with a slice of orange, a cinnamon stick and a star anise.
