Baked tortellini

Kids just love pasta in any form that could be served. This recipe is yummy and rich and could be served either as an everyday dinner or as a first course when gathering with friends.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams tortellini (any filling you prefer)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4-5 slices of bacon or prosciutto cut in small pieces
  • 400 grams sliced mushrooms
  • 200 grams grated mozzarella cheese
  • 200 grated cheddar cheese
  • 400 ml sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt, pepper

 

We cook the tortellini according to the package instructions (1’ less than the indicated time). We strain them and add the olive oil.

We put the tortellini in a greased ovenproof dish and we add all remaining ingredients (except sour cream ) and mix well .

We, then, pour the sour cream over the tortellini and bake in a preheated, at 180 degrees, oven for 20′- 25 ‘, making sure that we stir the tortellini about every 8’ in order not to have a crunchy crust over the pasta.
